Tracy’s objective is to assist individuals in developing a recovery and wellness lifestyle plan that works for them. Her process focuses on providing information and guiding the client to concentration on self-understanding. Encouragement is the most powerful method available for changing a person’s certainty, for it helps clients build self-confidence and stimulates courage.
As a counselor, Tracy strives to establish and maintain an honest agreement and a person-to-person relationship with her clients. In order to create an honest agreement between the client-counselor, mutual trust, respect, confidence and goal alignment must be achieved. She believes developing a strong therapeutic relationship is essential to a successful outcome.
An individual’s core beliefs and assumptions guide each person’s movement through life and organizes his or her reality, giving meaning to life events. Tracy believes your past should not dictate your present and your present does not determine your future. Change is possible..
